Once upon a time, I lived in a village a bit north of Galway, Ireland. The stone fences, wandering livestock and nearby crashing waves provided a quiet, inspirational backdrop. It was when living here that I had my first experiences as a literal starving artist, selling ink drawings and sketches to buy my next meal. While my time here was challenged by financial constraints, I hold a warm place in my heart for the kind people and beautiful place known as Ireland. The quaint communities are richly steeped in fondly regarded stories and sharing a tin with locals. Just maybe skip the topic of religion if you visit.
